Cleveland Plastic Surgery Case of the Week-Gynecomastia

This patient of Dr. Medalie’s from Youngstown, Ohio was concerned about the appearance of his chest. He had moderate gynecomastia with fatty and glandular tissue under the nipple/areolar complex. Ultrasonic liposuction with sub-areolar resection of excess tissue was performed and the patient’s post-operative contour revealed a flatter chest with minimal distortion of the nipple. He was pleased with his outcome. This is a good result for male breast reduction.

I’ll make this review for two types of people: current day guys who are pondering the thought of breast reduction surgery, and people trying to pick between no weight lifting and same level of sports. There are additional worthwile methods, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an educated decision than the person who simply overeats and is content with obesity and is related problems.
