Liposuction and Buttock Augmentation-Cleveland Plastic Surgery Case of the Week

This patient came to see Dr. Medalie at his Cleveland, Ohio west side ofice to discuss liposuction and buttock augmentation via fat transfer (Brazillian Butt Lift). She had enough fatty tissue of the abdomen and sides for transplant and she understood that at least 50% of the fat would not survive the transplant process. The surgery was performed as an outpatient at Dr. Medalie’s west 150th street location in Cleveland and 500 ccs of fatty tissue was transferred to each side of the patient’s gluteal region. The patient is shown 9 months after the liposculpture and gluteal enhancement. She has good contouring of the abdomen and sides from the liposuction and she also has better buttock projection. Overall she is very pleased with her results.

Vaginoplasty and Labiaplasty-Cleveland Plastic Surgery Case of the Week

This patient from Columbus, Ohio contacted Dr. Medalie at his Cleveland, Ohio east side office to discuss vaginoplasty and labiaplasty (labia minora reduction). She had two children and had an episiotomy with each child birth. Her complaints consisted of vaginal laxity as well as excess labial tissue and she desired tightening of the vagina (vagina rejuvenation) with labia reduction (labiaplasty). The surgery was performed as an outpatient and the patient at 3 months reported happiness with the surgery outcome and normal resumption of sexual activity.

She was 5’3″ and 125 lbs and selected 400 cc MP silicone implants with a sub-muscular/dual plane approach. Her results are shown at 3 months and she is very happy with her breast enhancement.

This pleasant 38 year old women came to Dr. Medalie in Cleveland, Ohio to discuss body contouring. She was interested in tummy tuck versus liposuction. She did not want surgical scars and after exploring all of her options decided for liposuction alone using the tumescent technique. Dr. Medalie performed the surgery in an outpatient setting on the east side of Cleveland. She is pictured 6 months after her surgery with excellent contour following her liposuction procedure, and she is very happy with her results.

Mommy Makeover with Tummy Tuck, Breast Augmentation and Breast lift- Cleveland Plastic Surgery Case of the Week

This 55 year old patient from Cleveland, Ohio came to see Dr. Medalie at his Cleveland East side office for a “mommy makeover”. She had had two children and wanted to rejuvenate her breasts with breast implants as well as a small peri-areolar breast lift to decrease the size of her areola and elevate her nipples to a more central location on her breasts. She also wanted to flatten her stomach and get rid of the extras skin, fat and stretch marks. She elected to have bilateral breast augmentation with 270 cc, smooth, round saline implants. At the same time she had an Tummy Tuck (abdominoplasty) with side liposuction. She is shown 2 years after the surgery and is very pleased with her new body.

This patient from Cleveland, Ohio came to see Dr. Medalie for a “Mommy Makeover”. She asked for breast augmentation with silicone breast implants and a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) with liposuction. She has three children and wanted to regain the full look of her breasts that she experienced during breast feeding. She also had moderate to severe laxity of the lower abdominal wall and requested muscle tightening. During the surgery 390 cc smooth round silicone breast implants were placed in a dual plane (partly under the breast and partly under the muscle). After the surgery her lower abdomen was flatter and the muscles much tighter. Her breasts were also fuller and rounder with good superior pole projection. She was very pleased with her mommy makeover.

This patient from Columbus, Ohio came up to Cleveland to see Dr. Medalie about abdominal contouring (tummy tuck) after pregnancy and dramatic weight loss. She had extreme stretching of the skin and muscle and a fold of tissue above the belly button. Dr. Medalie performed the surgery as an outpatient at the MetroHealth West 150th surgery center in Cleveland. During the tummy tuck procedure he removed the excess skin and stretch marks and tightened the underlying muscle. After the procedure, the patient had a smoother, tighter belly with much less protrusion and laxity of the muscle. From the side it is apparent that she has no hanging skin. She was very pleased with her tummy tuck.
Cleveland Plastic Surgery – Case of the Week- Labiaplasty (Labia Minora Reduction Surgery)

This patient from Columbus, Ohio traveled to Cleveland to see Dr. Medalie at his Beachwood office to discuss labia minora reduction (labiaplasty). After a careful exam he confirmed that she was a good candidate for the surgery and explained the outpatient procedure. The surgery was performed with mild oral sedation and local anesthesia at the MetroHealth Specialty Services Pavillion on Cleveland’s West side, and the patient was able to return to Columbus the same day without difficulty. The post operative pictures are shown at three months and demonstrate smaller and less obtrusive labia minora on both sides. The patient was very happy with her labiaplasty surgery and had no complications.

This patient from Cleveland, Ohio came to see Dr. Medalie at his Cleveland West side office to ask about facial rejuvenation. After careful consultation it was decided to perform a Face Lift, Brow lift, Upper and Lower Lid Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), Fat injection to the cheeks and lips and a Mouth Corner Lift. This was a big operation and was performed in two parts to minimize the extent of trauma. After the surgery was complete the patient was completely satisfied with her new look.

She elected to have a right breast lift and bilateral breast augmentation with 390 cc, smooth, round saline implants. At the same time she had an abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck) with side and thigh liposuction. She is shown 15 months after the surgery and is very pleased with her new body.
