Cleveland Plastic Surgery case of the Week – Labiaplasty (Labia Minora Reduction)

This patient from Cleveland, Ohio contacted Dr. Medalie with the chief complaint of irritation due to the size of her labia minora (inner labial lips). She desired labia minora reduction (labiaplasty) with the goal of removing the excess tissue as well as tightening the lips to make them appear less irregular. Dr. Medalie performed labiaplasty on her with mild oral sedation and local anesthesia in an outpatient setting at his metro office on the West side of Cleveland. She is shown 3 months after the surgery with a marked reduction in the amount of labial tissue and an improved contour. She suffered no adverse effects from the surgery and is very happy with the results
