Case Details
This patient contacted Dr. Daniel Medalie of Cleveland Plastic Surgery in order to have a top surgery revision. He had a chest masculinization procedure as well as a secondary revision 2 years prior to contacting Dr. Medalie. When Dr. Medalie reviewed the patient’s photos it was clear that he had had a pedicled breast reduction style double incision procedure with insufficient removal of chest skin and abnormal handling of the nipples. It was also clear that he needed a conversion to a full Double Incision mastectomy procedure with nipple grafting and resection of all of the excess skin and glandular and fatty tissue. Dr. Medalie scheduled him for an outpatient procedure that lasted around 90 minutes. The patient is shown 3 months after his top surgery revision and has an excellent result with removal of all of the excess chest skin and tissue and resizing and repositioning of the nipple/areolar complex. The patient is extremely happy with his revision outcome.
