Cleveland Plastic Surgery Case of the Week -Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty

This patient from Erie, Pa came to Dr. Medalie at his Cleveland East side office to discuss eyelid plastic surgery. She complained of heavy upper lids and tired looking lower lids. He performed a combined upper and lower lid rejuvenation. The excess skin was removed from the upper lids giving her eyes a more open appearance. Excess skin from the lower lids was also removed but even more importantly, fat from the lower lid was draped over the orbital rim to decrease the size of the fat bags and smooth out the lid/cheek junction. A muscle lift of the lower lids was also performed to give them more tone. After the plastic surgery the patient was very pleased with her appearance younger looking eyelids.
